Drink at The Sidings

Being a CAMRA member John is obviously very keen on cask ales, despite what you may hear about declining beer sales and pubs closing, sales of cask ales in the UK have increased over the past few years and sales continue to grow. So why not join the growing trend, if you haven’t already and switch to cask.

There will always be an offer at least 3 cask ales, Marston's Pedigree will usually be on and a minimum of 2 others by rotation. Below is a range of breweries and ales that we expect to feature regularly at The Sidings

  • Marston’s Burton Bitter and Pedigree
  • Wychwood Hobgoblin
  • Jennings Cumberland Ale and Snecklifter
  • Banks Bitter
  • Ringwood Fortyniner

And for Cider drinkers our house cider is Thatchers Gold, made in Somerset using traditional techniques and expertise gained since 1904, this crafted medium dry cider has a smooth, refreshing appley taste and a bright sparkle.

If you have any particular favourite then let us know and if there is enough demand we will put it on.

There is also a wide selection of keg beers, being a free house, we have the benefit of being able to buy from wherever and whoever we want.

There is also a range of wines and spirits for all tastes, a full range of soft drinks, as well as teas and coffees.

Our wine cellar is stocked by our specialist wine supplier from a range of independent wine producers, with styles and prices to suit all tastes.

For lager drinkers we have Peroni, Stella, Stella 4%, Carling and Carlsberg on draft.
